Today, 59 TPPS students travelled to Ruffey Lake Park to participate in the Templestowe District Cross Country Championships. We had a very successfully day, with two students (Lachie C and Levent) finishing in the placings and seven students finishing in the top 10 and earning a place at next month's Division Cross Country Championships.

This morning and last Tuesday morning the Cross Country Team trained for next Monday's Templestowe District Cross Country Carnival. The students have put in a lot of effort and no doubt they will perform to the best of their ability. Good luck to all runners!
Today the Girls Softball, Boys Rounders and Girls Rounders teams played in the Templestowe District Summer Interschool Sport Finals. They made the final after an excellent Home and Away Season during Term 1. All students tried their best against very high quality competition.
Girls Softball TPPS: 14 Warrandyte: 9 Boys Rounders TPPS: 5 Serpell: 15 Girls Rounders TPPS: 17 Milgate: 24 Congratulations to the Girls Softball team who will now face the winner of the Doncaster District in the Division Final. This morning, all students in Years 4-6 ventured to Templestowe Park to participate in the TPPS House Cross Country Carnival. 9/10 year olds completed 2 laps of a very hilly 1km course, whilst 11-13 year olds had to complete 3 laps. Not only were students running to earn valuable points for their house, the top ten place getters also earned themselves a place in the TPPS Cross Country Team, which will be running at the Templestowe District Cross Country Championships on Monday May 8th. I would like to commend all students on their fantastic attitudes, resilience and perseverance, you all made your houses and selves proud.
